Held on March 28–30 in the serene and spiritually rich town of Assisi, the L’ARCA Youth Camp brought together young Indian-origin Catholics from Italy for a profound experience of faith, fellowship, and heritage.
Spiritual Enrichment
The camp focused on prayer, worship, and spiritual growth, featuring:
· Daily Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Dipin, Fr. Anish, and Fr. Dibin, anchoring the camp in the Eucharist.
· Adoration sessions for personal prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
· Vibrant Praise and Worship led by a spirited music ministry.
· Spiritual sessions and classes on faith, discipleship, and living as young Catholics today.
Pilgrimage and Inspiration
Participants visited the Tomb of St. Francis of Assisi and the resting place of Blessed Carlo Acutis – two powerful examples of holiness, humility, and Eucharistic devotion.
Fellowship & Fun
The camp fostered community bonding through:
· Team-building activities and games that promoted friendship.
· Action songs and creative expressions celebrating faith.
· A special session introducing the Jesus Youth movement and its six pillars: Prayer, Word of God, Sacraments, Fellowship, Evangelization, and Service – encouraging youth to stay connected with the global JY community and live as active witnesses of Christ.
Impact and Outreach
L’ARCA Camp 2025 deeply impacted 36 participants and 17 volunteers/resources. Key support came from Joffin and Sibi (JY Germany), Jesvin (JY Ireland), and Christy (JY Switzerland), highlighting the strength of cross-border mission in enriching the movement across Europe.
Jesus Youth Italy remains committed to nurturing young Catholics, ensuring the flame of faith continues to shine brightly.
