A youth initiative of the movement, Outreach Child Support (OCS) reaches out to support families who find it difficult to afford to provide education to their children. The project is born out of the understanding that Education is vital to bringing about a lasting positive change in children’s lives, empowering and equipping them for a bright future. It is therefore, a basic right of every child. Currently OCS is actively and regularly supporting over 3100 children in different parts of South Asia.
This initiative took shape in response to the devastating flood in Kerala, South India. The response involved recruiting and training of volunteers for rehabilitating people, setting up quick response teams besides collecting, sorting and distributing relief materials. The positive response that the group received has led to Nalla Ayalkkaran groups being formed in other parts of the world.
